Dr. Catharine Goodson Is a highly skilled cosmetic dentist and anesthesia expert. She has proudly served the dental profession since 1985.
She is a graduate of University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston and received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Houston. Dr. Goodson’s love of dentistry was instilled in her at a young age by her father, who owned and operated a dental laboratory for 40 years.
Dr. Goodson has received advanced certifications in dental anesthesia from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. She founded Portable Anesthesia Services in 2005 to provide moderate in-office IV sedation to her patients and those of her colleagues. She is committed to ensuring her patient’s the highest quality dental care in the most relaxed manner possible.
Dr. Goodson is also dedicated to safeguarding the total health and well-being of her patients. She is a published author and national speaker specializing in the management of medical emergencies in the dental office.
Dr. Goodson is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, Texas Dental Association and the American Academy of Sedation Dentistry.
Dr. Goodson and her family are allied with Give Hope Global, an organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children in Haitian orphanages. They are committed to providing educational opportunities for their sponsored children.
Dr. Goodson’s interests include sports and action photography, refinishing furniture, kayaking and attending Manvel High School football games. She and her husband David have two sons.
