Dr. Sunny Larwood

Dr. Larwood grew up in Shreveport, LA, and moved to Houston in 2012.  She attended Centenary College of Louisiana, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Secondary Education.  Before attending dental school, she gained experience in her first career as a high school Spanish teacher and girls’ track coach.  In 2017, she started dental school education at the UT Health Sciences Center School of Dentistry in Houston.

Dr. Larwood offers a range of dental services, including cleanings and deep cleanings, teeth whitening, cosmetic dentistry, clear aligner therapy to straighten teeth, fillings, crowns and bridges, root canal therapy, and dental extractions.  She is passionate about learning and committed to providing up-to-date dental care to her patients, attending continuing education courses whenever possible. It’s very important to Dr. Larwood that her patients are involved in treatment plan decisions.  She is fluent in English and Spanish.

When she’s not in the office or at dental conferences, Dr. Larwood enjoys working out and reading.  She and her husband are the proud parents of their German Shepherd, Johnny Cash, and two very well-fed kitties!
